This Technical Schedule defines the technical requirements via testing and appraisal, by which Emergency exit devices can be used on doorsets to maintain the performance of insulated, partially insulated or uninsulated fire resisting doorsets as defined by EN 1634 1 as current. These devices are intended for use in conjunction with certified fire resisting door assemblies, including those for smoke leakage control. Panic exit devices and their accessories are outside the scope of this Schedule and are covered by Technical Schedule TS26.
