CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods - Flame resistance
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods - Flame resistance - Test Standard:
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods Flame resistance- Vertically oriented textile fabric or fabric assembly test
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods Flame resistance - Scope:
This method determines the burnig behavior of vertically oriented flame-resistance textile fabrics. The specimens tested may be a single layer of fabric, a composite or an assembly of two or more layers.
This method provides two procedures for exposing the specimen to a flame:surface ignition(with the burner perpendicular to the surface of the specimen)and edge ignition(with the burner inclined at 30°to the vertical towards the lower edge of the specimen ).
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods Flame resistance - Principle:
A defined ignition flame from specified burner is applied to the surface or edge of the fabric for a specified time.
The extent of vertical and horizontal flame spread is observed.
CAN/CGSB-4.2 NO.27.10:Textile test methods Flame resistance - Sample required:
- 80*200mm
