Fire Test for Motor Vehicle
& Ecosafene have rich experience to provide fire test to Motor Vehicle
Ä Fire resistance for Motor Vehicles:
Ability of an item to fulfill for a stated period of time the required stability and/or integrity and/or thermal insulation and/or other expected duty specified in a standard fire resistance test.
Ä Reaction to fire for Motor Vehicle:
As, by definition, a place of relative safety cannot be guaranteed to be maintained in a safe condition indefinitely should a fire develop, it is essential that the materials used in the construction and furnishing of vehicles are such that they are not easily ignited and have low total emission of heat, smoke and toxic fume when exposed to an ignition source.
Ä Fire Test to demonstrated that
Ø Acceptable control of the risk of ignition has been achieved
Ø Acceptable control of the rate of and total emission of heat, smoke and toxic fume has been achieved for all major usage materials and surfaces when exposed to a source of ignition.
Ø Acceptable resistance to fire has been achieved for all materials and items required to perform as a barrier to fire or which are required to perform some function when exposed to fire.
Ä Fire Testing – Vehicle – Product Scope:
Rubber Product, Rubber Seal
Sponge (Seat)
Fire Adhesive
Textile (Curtain, carpet)
