ASTM D3675 Fire Test for building material – Standard Scope:
This test method describes the measurement of surface flammability of flexible cellular materials.
This standard measures and describes the response of materials, products, or assemblies to heat and flame under controlled conditions, but dose not, by itself, incorporate all factors, required for fire hazard or fire risk assessments of the materials, products, or assemblies under actual fire conditions.
Test Method E162 is a generic version of this test method, using an apparatus that is substantially the same as the one used in this test method.
