Germany-based Evonik is teaming up with the South African plastics processor Ampaglas Plastics Group to create a new joint venture in the country.

Evonik holds a 51% stake in the JV, Evonik Acrylics Africa (EAA), which will produce Plexiglas sheet mainly for the African market.
